How to Set Up Calendars and Contacts in cPanel

When setting up calendar and contact applications on different devices, you will need the following information:

  • Server: example.com:2080
  • Username: example or user@example.com
  • Password: Your secure password (e.g., m@]n%3pi8F=r8p5xJP}+)
  • Description: My Calendars

Set Up Calendar and Contact Applications in iOS

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Passwords & Accounts.
  3. Under ACCOUNTS, tap Add Account.
  4. Tap Other.
  5. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Under CONTACTS, tap Add CardDav Account to add a contacts account.
    • Under CALENDARS, tap Add CalDav Account to add a calendar account.
  6. Complete the setup by entering your information in the required fields.

Note that you must append port 2080 to the server's hostname for the setup to function properly. For example: example.com:2080.

Set Up Calendar and Contact Applications in macOS

  1. Click Launchpad, then click System Preferences.
  2. Click Internet Accounts (or press Command + Tab, then type "Internet Accounts").
  3. Click Add Other Account.
