You can host an unlimited number of domains from a single cPanel account using the Domains interface. This guide explains how to create subdomains, add addon domains, and manage alias domains.
Types of Domains
- Subdomain: A subsection of your website that uses a prefix with the main domain (e.g., blog.example.com).
- Addon Domain: A separate domain linked to your hosting account. Addon domains have their own directories.
- Alias Domain: Also known as a parked domain, an alias points to your main domain.

Feature | Subdomain | Addon Domain | Alias Domain |

Steps to Create a Subdomain or Addon Domain
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Go to the Domains section and click Create a New Domain.
- Enter the new domain name or subdomain.
- For subdomains, use the format subdomain.example.com.
- Define the document root for the domain (or deselect Share document root for separate hosting directories).
- Click Create to finish.
AutoSSL for Domains
For each new domain or subdomain, AutoSSL will automatically attempt to install a free SSL certificate if enabled. To force HTTPS for your domains, enable the Force HTTPS Redirect option in cPanel.
