Steps to Install WordPress Using Softaculous
- Log in to cPanel
Access your cPanel by visiting https://example_domain.com:2083 and log in with your credentials.
- Open Softaculous Panel
In your cPanel dashboard, click on the Softaculous icon or link to open the Softaculous Panel.
- Choose a Script Category
On the left side of the Softaculous panel, you will find a list of script categories. Select a script from the categories displayed. In this case, we are installing WordPress, which is found under the Blogs category.
- Select WordPress
Once you choose WordPress, the script details will appear, including ratings, reviews, and a demo URL. Click on the Install tab to proceed with the installation.
- Fill in Installation Details
- Domain: Enter the domain name where you want to install WordPress.
- Protocol: Select the protocol you want to use (e.g.,

). - Admin Username and Password: Provide the admin username and password for your WordPress installation.
- Choose Language: If you wish to install WordPress in a specific language, select the language from the drop-down menu.

- Installation Directory: If you want to install WordPress in the root of your domain (e.g.,

), leave the directory field blank.
